One More Day

This totally sums up how I am feeling today!! Thanks to Eric at http://www.parisdailyphoto.com/ for sharing this today. I have miscellaneous errands to run...nails, lunch with friends then Dick and I are opening our gifts tonight so it's Christmas for us!!! Maybe a little champagne too to get us in the mood.

On another note, can you believe that it's almost 2008? I feel like the years are just flying by. We have a great life and this is a good day for me to thank all of our friends...old & new, far & close...who continue to enrich our lives in so many ways - neighbor friends, travel friends, running friends, shopping and eating friends, blog friends - we are so thankful to have you all in our lives. And a big thank you to our families....we miss all of you!!

A special thank you to my sister, my very best friend and confidante who I miss every single day that we are apart.

11 Days and Reindeer!

Yesterday was the perfect Sunday. We took a trip up to Estes Park with Sally, Ron & Pam. Ron & Pam are friends visiting from Charlotte, North Carolina...welcome!!! We had a great lunch at The Stanley Hotel then took the scenic drive through Rocky Mountain National Park. We spotted a few deer and female elk but were so disappointed that we didn't get to see any males!! Here we are at the entrance to Estes Park...all bundled up because it was a chilly day...brrrr.


But then, just as we were leaving....look what showed up on the road!!! Picture perfect.....and at Christmastime no less.
